The Chum Bucket bucket helmet is a hat worn by either employees or customers of the Chum Bucket, depending on which story it is being used in. It first appears in the episode "Welcome to the Chum Bucket," then The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and its video game adaptation, it is used as a mind-control device.

Description

The Chum Bucket bucket helmet is a dark gray bucket with the Chum Bucket's initials written in red text in the center. This device is used to change the mindset of the fish wearing it, which the helmet covers the face of when controlled.

He then uses them as slaves to make Bikini Bottom into Planktopolis, but at the end of the movie, SpongeBob destroys the bucket helmets, frees the minds of the Bikini Bottomites, and turns Planktopolis back into Bikini Bottom. Meanwhile Plankton was arrested for brainwashing all the people of Bikini Bottom.
