Christopher Joseph "Chris" Reccardi (November 24, 1964 – May 2, 2019; aged 54) was a former SpongeBob SquarePants crew member. He was credited on two season 5 episodes, one season 6 episode, the second movie, and the third movie.
Biography[]
Chris Reccardi was an American cartoon director, animator, character designer, producer, writer and storyboard artist. He was best known for his work on the Nickelodeon animated series The Ren & Stimpy Show and his storyboards for many shows, including Tiny Toon Adventures, The Powerpuff Girls (original 1998 TV series), Samurai Jack, and had directing duties on Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! and SpongeBob SquarePants. He was also the supervising producer for the first season of Regular Show and creative director for Secret Mountain Fort Awesome.
In 2007, he co-created and developed a pilot for Nickelodeon called The Modifyers alongside his wife Lynne Naylor.
He passed away on May 2, 2019 after suffering a heart attack while surfing in Ventura, California.[1] He was 54 years old.
