Christopher Takeshi "Chris" Mitchell (born May 10, 1970; age 53) is a former SpongeBob SquarePants crew member who worked as a writer and storyboard director/artist on season 1, season 4, and one episode from season 5 (however, the episode in question was produced during season 4). He was teamed up with Steve Fonti for every season 1 episode that they worked on together and Casey Alexander during season 4.

He has worked on TV shows such as The Ren & Stimpy Show, Dexter's Laboratory, and Samurai Jack.
