Captain Tightwad wears a blue outfit with a dark red cape and gold button with the letter "T" in green. He also wears a black belt with two coin dispensers and gold button with a green dollar sign, and red gloves that looks a lot like his claws.
Coin attack: Captain Tightwad's coin dispensers dispense coins with strings attached, which he can throw at enemies.
Super strength: Captain Tightwad seems to have at least enough super strength to throw Squidward.
"Mediocre" fighting skills: As shown when fighting Patrick, Captain Tightwad's fighting skills are mediocre at best.
Mr. Krabs reads Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy issue No. 53 featuring Captain Tightwad and decides to make a costume of the villain. When he sees SpongeBob and Patrick playing Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, he shows Squidward his Captain Tightwad costume and gives him a Doctor Negative costume so he can also play. However SpongeBob says that a supervillain must commit a crime before they can be fought, so he and Doctor Negative pretend to rob a bank but are foiled by the security guard. So SpongeBob buys equipment from the Evil Stör and sets a superhero scene where Captain Tightwad and Doctor Negative have the two heroes trapped on a giant strainer to be dunked in a vat of fry grease.
Though Squidward goes too far and tries to actually boil SpongeBob and Patrick, but this fails when the two heroes tip the strainer they are on and accidentally destroy the Krusty Krab. This leaves Mr. Krabs wanting to "just stick to reading comics."
In Appointment TV, he appears again.
"Ahoy, you half-sea half-wits."
"Tremble before Captain Tightwad!"
"I think I'll just stick to reading comics."
Mr. Krabs thinks he is not evil, just misunderstood.
