Canned Coral is a canned food item that appears in the episode "Rise and Shine."
Description
On the tin wrapping, there is a picture of a dark red coral plant with green spots on it, which is flanked by the food's name. Said name is written in blue text and capitalized at the top and bottom of the cover. Beside the coral reads the words "Great taste in a can" in dark blue capital letters. The background of the picture is white, and the rest of the can is yellow. The lid is silver.
Role in episode
During his morning routine, Patrick opens his pantry to look for breakfast, which appears to be full of Canned Coral. This displeases him, as he wants real food instead of just "pictures of food on cans," only for him to realize that the food is stored in the can.
Patrick then settles with his Canned Coral, but experiences difficulty trying to open the can. Enraged, he throws it at his ringing alarm clock and the can breaks in half, freeing the food inside.
He then eats the Canned Coral on a plate while watching the Bikini Bottom News.
