— Squidward, "Squidville"
|
Canned Bread is bread packed conveniently into a can. It first appears in the episode "Squidville."
Description[]
The can somewhat resembles a soda can and is silver. There is a horizontal red stripe going around the can near the top. On the stripe reads the food's name in all caps and written in white.
Under the stripe is a picture of a loaf of bread. Under this is a yellow burst shape. It reads "Best Thing Since Sliced," spelling out "Best Thing Since Sliced Bread."
Role in series[]
SpongeBob SquarePants[]
"Squidville"[]
The bread is sold at the store Full of Health at Tentacle Acres. Squidward buys it multiple times during the montage of him doing things in the city.
"Atlantis SquarePantis"[]
The bread makes a cameo in Squidward's painting, though it is in a different kind of can, similar to what the one that appears in SpongeBob Moves In! looks like.
"Super Evil Aquatic Villain Team Up is Go!"[]
Man Ray is seen restocking Canned Bread into a vending machine.
Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years[]
Several cans of canned bread can be seen in the background at some points in the episodes "The Jellyfish Kid," "Camp SpongeBob," and "Painting with Squidward."
Role in video games[]
SpongeBob Moves In![]
It is a product the player can make. It was introduced during the summer 2014 update, where the theme was exercise and eat healthily to unlock things like the Fast Food Coliseum.
SpongeBob Simulator[]
It appears as a quest item as the player must find 30 cans of canned bread after Squilliam gets confused from the houses of Tentacle Acres when carrying canned bread.
