Not to be confused with Cavey.
Character

Cakey is a cake that appears in the Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episode "Patrick Takes the Cake." While it is a regular sheet cake, Patrick imagines it with a face and voice.

Description[]

It is a white cake with light pink lines around and light pink toppings. After Patrick takes a fall with it, it has kelp as eyebrows, rocks as eyes, a pinecone as a nose, sticks for a nose, and it speaks by flapping its mouth open. Only Patrick can hear Cakey; the other campers simply see him talking to himself.

Role in episode[]

When the mailman doesn't have anything for Patrick, he ends up giving him an unmarked box that contains a sheet cake. Patrick is about to eat the cake, but everyone in the camp wants a piece of it, so he runs into the woods with it. After the fall, Patrick names it Cakey and imagines it with a voice.

Patrick is about to eat Cakey, but he advises him to have lunch before dessert, so Patrick eats something from a vending machine. However, the campers catch up to him before he can eat Cakey. He takes another fall, and Cakey tells him to take measures to prevent him from getting stolen. Patrick winds up getting stuck in his own booby traps, and Cakey is discovered by Kevin.

After going through the woods, the cake is left inedible. Patrick hesitantly returns to camp but is told by Cakey what he should really do: share the cake with everyone, since it is meant to be eaten. Patrick runs around and flings pieces of Cakey at the campers. Just then, the mailman shows up and takes Cakey back, claiming that the package was meant for the president. He gives Patrick a pie as a replacement, which he also imagines talking to him.
