The boy fish[1] is a little orange child fish who first appears in the episode "No Hat for Pat."
Description[]
He is a short boy shaped like a baby carrot who has orange skin, red-orange stripes on his fins, a tiny bow-shaped dorsal fin, a wrinkle on his forehead, chubby cheeks, and a single bucktooth. He wears a blue propeller hat with two red helixes, a short-sleeved green shirt and blue shorts.
Role in series[]
"No Hat for Pat"[]
Mr. Krabs complains about the boy adding too much ketchup on his kelp fries.
"Toy Store of Doom"[]
When the Toy Barrel is closing, he is trying to stay inside while his father drags him. The boy gets to release from his father's hand, but the father throws himself onto the boy and catches him again.
"Two Thumbs Down"[]
He is seen at the entrance of the Thumb Con holding hands with the hillbilly husband while SpongeBob walks back home from work with his thumbs broken. In this episode and the online game Bikini Bottom Mysteries Search, the boy has lime-green skin, purple lips, and a yellow shirt with a red thumbprint on it, rather than his normal colors.
"Patnocchio"[]
He is seen as a patron on Goofy Goober's Ice Cream Party Boat.
"The Goofy Newbie"[]
He is once again seen as a patron at Goofy Goober's.
"Under the Small Top"[]
He and the teen fish appear on the circus sea fleas commercial.
Trivia[]
- It took him 7 years to return to the series between "Toy Store of Doom" and "Two Thumbs Down."
- SpongeBob wore the same propeller hat as him during the "I Can't Keep My Eyes Off of You" song when he says "When I stuff you with cotton candy, It reminds me you're so sweet."
