Exterior[]
The exterior of the Bikini Bottom Convention Hall resembles a torpedo in the sand that is green at night. There is also a banner sign that says something different in each appearance such as Welcome Navy Buddies in "Shell of a Man," Thumb Con in "Two Thumbs Down," and Welcome Fast Food Founding Fathers in "Knock Knock, Who's There?"
Interior[]
The inside of the Convention Center has metallic walls and tables where the navy buddies can sit at to discuss their past actions. There is also a stage where they announced the winner of the manly toughness award.
Role in series[]
"Shell of a Man"[]
The Bikini Bottom Convention Hall serves as the main setting for the second half of the episode. Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob go here to reunite with Mr. Krabs' navy buddies. However, Mr. Krabs molts his shell and is too ashamed to show himself in front of them due to his weak body. Mr. Krabs then has SpongeBob go inside his shell and masquerade as himself.
The plans are going well as SpongeBob manages to get Mr. Krabs' navy buddies to think he is "Armor Abs Krabs" until he is announced for the Trophy of Manly Toughness. SpongeBob accidentally talks about blowing bubbles and jellyfishing, but fortunately for him, the navy buddies still believe he is Mr. Krabs. However, when SpongeBob gives Torpedo Belly a "steely belly butt," the shell breaks and SpongeBob is revealed in front of everyone.
Mr. Krabs then appears and informs everyone about his condition. As Mr. Krabs is about to leave with SpongeBob, Mutton Chop hands over the Trophy of Manly Toughness, admitting that him molting his shell was the toughest thing he has ever seen. Then, the rest of Mr. Krabs' navy buddies all reveal their unmanly secrets and all share a laugh.
"Two Thumbs Down"[]
It appears during the "Two Thumbs Down song" when SpongeBob walks back home from work with his broken thumbs. It is hosting an event called Thumb Con.
"Knock Knock, Who's There?"[]
It is hosting the Fast Food Founding Fathers convention during the night, where Mr. Krabs tries to gain admission but is denied on account of his failure to provide the entry guy with money. However, a fish who brings just a penny arrives and is let in and even rewarded a giant bag of money, much to Mr. Krabs' jealousy.
