Esmerelda Steelhead is the sister of Bunny Star who appears in the episode "Thanks But No Thanksgiving."
Description[]
She is a purple squid with dark purple eyeshadow, magenta lipstick, gold studded earrings, and short magenta hair styled into a flip. She also wears a green dress and a hat as well.
Role in episode[]
Aunt Esmeralda shows up in a flying broomstick looking at her mirror being introduced to The Star Family by her mother, Agnes Steelhead when they come visit for a Thanksgiving holiday in Klopnod. Agnes tells her to get off the mirror when the family arrive and Esmeralda takes the pleasure to introduce Patrick and Squidina to her children, Squatrick and Patina. Esmeralda then hangs out with her sister Bunny to check on their childhood bedroom and have fond memories of it. Once, They visit their childhood bedroom, Esmeralda proposes Bunny to play an old board game called Game of Strife, in which she challenges Bunny on it. She goes on belittling Bunny and brags about how much she and her children are superior and when she fights with Bunny, they both get grounded by Agnes. Esmeralda then brags about having a husband who was high school sweatheart of hers only to turn about to be an illusion of a bunch of sea bunnies cast by Esmeralda in which Bunny counterpoints that her husband is at least real. She later fights with Bunny on the direction of the works for a little bit and then celebrates Thanksgiving dinner along with her family at the end of the episode.

- She is the third member of the Star family to be a squid rather than a starfish, after Squidina and Agnes Steelhead.
- She may be either divorced or widowed. She lied to her sister, Bunny that she is engaged to their high school sweetheart, which it was actually a few sea bunnies in disguise by magic.
