Angry Jack[2], also known as Judge 1[3], is a "Judge" incidental who first appears in the episode "Slimy Dancing."

Description[]

He is an egg-shaped light blue fish with a light green dorsal fin and blue lips. He wears a white shirt with a red bow tie, brown pants with a black belt, and black shoes.

Angry Jack[]

He is colored teal with a neon green dorsal fin and lips. He wears a white dress shirt with a dark pink necktie with stripes, tannish brown pants with a brown belt, and black shoes.

Role in series[]

Angry Jack has made a few appearances throughout the series. He was firstly designed to be one of the three dance judges for the Dance A Thon but has also been portrayed as a regular citizen of Bikini Bottom or New Kelp City, a high class fancy fish, and a trumpet player in the series as well. He makes his biggest role yet in the episode "Shell Shocked" as the owner of Angry Jack's Shell Emporium.

Major roles[]

"Slimy Dancing"[]

He appears as one of the judges of the Bikini Bottom Dance A Thon where he tells Squidward that he was unimpressed with his dance audition and that he didn't make it into the show. He also has Squidward banned from the competition after he tries to steal the Dance a Thon trophy from them. He is later seen as one of the three dance judges with Judge 2 and Judge 3 where they judge the performances at the Dance A Thon. When the three judges learn that all of the contestants have cheated, he checks out Patrick to see if he cheated and claims that he is the only dancer who didn't cheat.

"What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?"[]

He comes out of the mailbox of New Kelp City and thanks SpongeBob for getting rid of the The Bubble Poppin' Boys. He also calls out to the other New Kelp City citizens after he does so.

"Suction Cup Symphony"[]

He is one of the Bikini Bottom Symphony Orchestra trumpeters for "The Suction Cup Symphony."

"Porous Pockets"[]

He is one of fancy fish walking with SpongeBob.

"Shell Shocked"[]

His biggest role in the series yet. He appears as Angry Jack where he is first seen angrily advertising his store on a commercial, Angry Jack's Shell Emporium. He then finds SpongeBob at his store during his commercial and reveals to him that he is only angry on his commercials and he is naturally a nice and understanding person. He patiently tries to help him find a shell for Gary the Snail but SpongeBob keeps on pushing his patience by constantly shattering his shells. After SpongeBob shatters every Shell he has, he becomes angry at SpongeBob for real and has him pay for the damage with an arm, a leg, an internal organ, an eyeball, and his clothes.

"Gary in Love"[]

He is one of the pet owners napping on a bench at the Snail Park.

"A SquarePants Family Vacation"[]

He is a trumpeter for "The Above the Road Song" that is lifted by the giant fruit fly.

"Jailbreak!"[]

Several Angry Jacks appear as prison guards at the Bikini Bottom Jail where they fill the gap on the prison wall that Plankton made with his soap bomb with several other prisoners, they however get stuck together in the gap.

"Two Thumbs Down"[]

He and the orange hat fish appear as Krusty Krab customers where they get touched by SpongeBob's thumbs up to them. He even claims that he has a thumb print on his aorta.

"Goodbye, Krabby Patty?"[]

Angry Jack and prison guard 1 appear as factory guards at the Krusty Factory, escorting a purple anchovy out of the factory after he tries a Frozen Krabby Patty and discovers that it made his butt big.

"SpongeBob's Bad Habit"[]

Angry Jack and another fish appear as Glove World! employees where they escort a nail-biting SpongeBob out of the park.

Major roles in books[]

SpongeBob DetectivePants in the Case of the Lost Shell[]

Angry Jack is helping another customer until SpongeBob and Patrick arrive. Angry Jack says "not you again" and tells him to not to move an inch, and the last time he entered the store he broke the entire store inventory. SpongeBob asks Angry Jack if he has seen the lost shell and he says no. Angry Jack then tells SpongeBob to get out before he breaks something.
