The "Squid" incidentals are a group of octopus characters who were designed for "Squidville" as citizens for Tentacle Acres. Unlike most prefix incidentals, they do not all share the same prefix, although their prefixes do all contain the word "squid" in them. The males are known as "Squid man" and the females are known as "Squid woman." There are a total of six "Squid" incidentals with three of them being "Squid mans" and three of them being "Squid womans."
Description[]
Each "Squid" incidental is an octopus character who resembles Squidward, being skinny turquoise octopuses with a large forehead, a large droopy nose, and six arms. However they all each have different features such as different clothing or hair.
Squid man 1[]
He wears a purple turtleneck sweater with a pale yellow stripe and a blue stripe in the center.
Squid man 2[]
He wears a yellow V-neck shirt and has black hair that resembles a unibrow.
Squid man 3[]
He wears a white T-shirt, blue shorts, and a small red cap.
Squid woman 4[]
She has puffy blonde hair and eyelashes. She wears a light green and orange dress and has pink lipstick.
Squid woman 5[]
She has orange hair and eyelashes, she wears a purple dress with lavender ends at the sleeves along with a lavender headband. She also has pink lipstick.
Squid woman 6 (Squidette)[]
She has long black hair and eyelashes. She wears a pink shirt and dark purple pants and also has pink lipstick.
Names[]
- In the credits of "Squidville," Squid woman 6 is named Squidette.
Role in series[]
The "Squid" incidentals were designed to be the basic citizens of Tentacle Acres in "Squidville." They were all portrayed to have the same personality as Squidward, as well as sharing his hobbies and interests. They later reappear in the episode "Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom" as fans of Kelpy G alongside many other octopus characters. They also appear in SpongeBob Simulator in the Squidville clam.
Trivia[]
- Squid woman 4 and 6 have similar nasally voices while Squid woman 5 has a normal non-nasally voice.
- Squid man 3 and Squid woman 5 are the only "Squid" incidentals who have been heard with a non-nasally voice.
- They are the first group of incidentals whose design was inspired by a main character.
