People need to stop spreading misinformation about Stephen Hillenburg. I know they weren't doing it on purpose, but still. Heck, Stephen even worked on spinoffs before he died in 2018. And he would not be angry if he sees these spinoffs. If anything, he would've been absolutely happy to see them if he was still alive. He never said that he didn't want spinoffs, he just said he didn't see spinoffs. His point was that he didn't know if spinoffs were ever possible. People need to stop misinterpreting what he said. People need to stop spreading misinformation (and I don't care if it's unintentional). (and for the people standing up to the misinformation) People need to stop acting like the misinformation was done on purpose (because it wasn't).
