I loved both of those movies.
In-fact, I liked all 4 Despicable Me movies as well.
I specifically love Rise of Gru and Despicable Me 3 the most.
(Dru spin-off movie when?!)
It's definitely a favorite of mine. My true all time favorite is probably Pest of The West, but this one is my favorite out of post-S9.
It grosses me out and it makes no sense.
Also, The Cent Of Money, because Mr. Krabs treated Gary terribly, lied to Spongebob multiple times and stole money from people and local Bikini Bottom businesses.

But Nat eventually gave up and confessed he was being paid because of how badly the chum affected his health? Or am I somehow misremembering this episode despite how many times I've rewatched this show?

I watched this episode recently in-fact.
It is so messed up that Mr. Krabs literally pushed Plankton to try and get run over by a bus, and just laughed and found it amusing. I'm glad Spongebob told him about the fear of mimes and that the Pearl was just Mr. Krabs in a whale outfit.
This is yet another reason why I dislike Mr. Krabs.

Happy Anniversary... but poor Gary in this episode.
Mr. Krabs deserved to not only get yelled at by Spongebob, but lose all the money he forced Gary to steal and gather despite how sick and uncomfortable Gary felt. :(

I really love this episode, in-fact could probably be the favorite episode on my list of favorite Spongebob episodes. I've watched this episode far too many times lol
