realistically are s4-8 also still be considered modern spongebob? the era started almost 20 years ago as s4 premiered in 2005

ultimately i dont think so, i say s4-9a are post-movie and s9b-11 are post-sequel

imo s12-present are both modern and post-sequel

the chances of my favourite episode (stanley s. squarepants) winning are low

as long as overrated band geeks doesnt win i dont mind, each "era" of spongebob (seasons 1-3, seasons 4-5, seasons 6-9a and seasons 9b-present) have their spectacular episodes that would be excellent if they won, thus i dont want a specific "era"'s episode to win, as imo all eras are great (even though seasons 9b-present has my least favourite season, season 12)
