Both are underrated to an extent in my opinion.
A show like SpongeBob generally does not have any continuity. The movie doesn't show any signs or references to being a direct sequel to the first movie. They both take place in different timelines and I would think that there wasn't any plans to make a direct sequel when the crew was beginning development for it anyways.
Just because you do not favor in a particular show doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. Most My Little Pony fans would very excited for this show.

Around 2009 to 2010 I believe.
House Fancy's production code was 101a, so this made SpongeBob SquarePants the second longest-running Nickelodeon animated series, surpassing the former holder Hey Arnold!, which consisted of 100 episodes.
As for Mr. Enter, I don't really know too much about him or view his content, but yeah, I think the Paul Tibbit tweet is what caused this uproar, and everyone started hatching on with him as well as attacking the workers of the show.
I read a couple of PieGuys' tweets about this, and I really have started to lose a lot of respect for him. His overreaction over the situation and blatantly rude comments toward users with an opposite opinion (such as "Steve wasn't against spin-offs, he just didn't see a potential one.") as well as blocking users over said opinion with vague excuse: "I never wanted to be the person who shuts down peoples voices, but how can you have discussions with people who feel they’re right even when proven wrong?" is very disgraceful. All of this is a shame because I used to watch his videos about SpongeBob and the direction it took, and he made some very good points about such, but I'm not really interested in his content anymore due to the drama that's been going on between him and others.
The idea of Skill Crane was taken from the educational video game SpongeBob Saves the Day.
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV reveals the invisible boatmobile is a pink 1959 Cadillac.
The scene in Procrastination where a video of a drag race car crashes into a wall was removed because Nickelodeon considered the scene to be violent, fearing that some viewers might try to imitate the crash.
Prehibernation Week was originally going to be titled "Sardines."
Well, I remember the first two Jimmy Timmy Power Hours were good. But for the main show, I liked most of the season 3 and 4 episodes as well as the specials BSponge listed.
Scaredy Pants is the first episode Patrick shaves SpongeBob. The second time he does so is in "The Good Krabby Name."
