Before I start this review, I would like to say thank you for all of your support, and my birthday is tomorrow, so if you can, or if you have enough time, you are welcome to wish me a happy birthday.
Now let’s begin with my review.
I would say that Season 15 was more bizarre than any other season of SpongeBob, but has many episodes I actually found to be great. It is currently the ONLY season that does not have any episodes that I consider as bad. It is like a return of SpongeBob’s golden era, during the first three seasons of the show.
Sammy Suckerfish: I actually found that episode hilarious. The toilet humor was well told, and created in the episode, and it actually had a song that would never ever fade away from my head. And the best of all for this episode, the titular character (Sammy Suckerfish), is in this episode, AND I like how he was voiced by Richard Ayoade.
Score: Perfect (100/100)
Big League Bob: Unlike Sammy Suckerfish, I found Big League Bob to be pretty boring. I get it, you guys enjoy Big League Bob, and I can respect your opinions. But that is not the worst part of this episode -- I really do not like competitions, unless they are based on video games. Sorry, guys, but Big League Bob is on my Bottom 10!
Score: Weak (22/100)
UpWard: This is also an episode I actually liked. Lady Upturn, one of my favorite female SpongeBob characters, returned in this episode, and what makes this episode interesting is that she has a major role in UpWard, just like Squidward. When I first watched it in December 2024, my mind turned into a ticking time bomb, and exploded when I finished watching it. I strangely liked it!
Score: Delightful (60/100)
Unidentified Flailing Octopus: Besides from having a hilarious name, I found it weird, but supposedly jumpscared me. Still, I understand that it was a potential Squidward torture episode, but I still enjoy it. At least I did see Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy in this episode!
Score: Excellent (93/100)
Bad Luck Bob: I do have many unpopular opinions on the fifteenth season of SpongeBob, and Bad Luck Bob is no different. I really liked it, and I had thoughts that despite being a SpongeBob/Squidward torture episode, it may be a good fit for St. Patrick’s Day, considering that it is based on luck.
Score: Brilliant (84/100)
The Sandman Cometh: I get it, you guys liked it, and I respect all of your opinions toward “The Sandman Cometh,” but I think that this episode is just too weird. It may have been a bit funnier if the music track “Flop & Go A” played in this episode. At least the restless part, with the baby bottle, and the lullaby, was very cute.
Score: Wonderful (76/100)
