Is the Nickelodeon MTV channel NickMusic still a thing? One time I was on a free trial with Fubo, and it had NickMusic. I clicked on it and it was playing some random music video. But that was over 3 years ago. The latest I’ve heard from news about the channel, was when the whole CrowdStrike outage last summer happened. Even though I don’t have the channel anymore and don’t listen to music videos, I still want to know like, what’s going on there right now. I only have Nickelodeon, Nick 2, Nick Jr, Nicktoons and TeenNick right now.

During TeenNick's early morning airing of "Eek, an Urchin!" and "Squid Defense", they used an old SD letterboxed print. This error has never happened before.

They're doing a Season 1-3 marathon. Some episodes are out of order, but they're mainly in order. Currently on Dying for Pie. It goes until 6 AM ending with Born Again Krabs and I Had an Accident. Not sure why they're doing it. After 6 AM, it goes back to all Henry Danger for the foreseeable future.

Looking at my TV Guide, the Tidal Zone is scheduled to air on TeenNick at 1 AM EST on January 22nd. SpongeBob doesn't air on TeenNick often and it's not scheduled to air before January 22nd.

Speaking of the Tidal Zone, it was really good. I like the order they chose to air stuff and how GrandPat appeared through most of it.

Basically ever since November started, Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, and TeenNick are flooded with Loud House and there is little to no SpongeBob. Right now, your options for watching Nick in the US is three different Loud House episodes or Nick Jr. They never did this kind of thing with SpongeBob outside of the Every SpongeBob Ever event and even that was limited to Nicktoons and got interrupted prematurely after InSPONGEiac.

I was just on Zap2it looking ahead at different channels' schedules, and I looked at the TV schedules for NickToons and TeenNick. Apparently, starting on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 6:00AM for both networks, they will have new channel lineups, which... as you'll see in a moment, aren't very good.

I'll start with NickToons, since that channel's schedule is in somewhat better condition than TeenNick's.

TeenNick's schedule was already bad enough as it was, and now it looks as though it's going to get even worse, with only 8 shows airing on TeenNick with this new change! Also, NickRewind has been shortened to just three hours on their schedule now, and they're also only going to be airing Rugrats now. This means no other 90's Nicktoons such as Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold!, etc. are going to air on NickRewind with this new change.

As I said in the title of my post, looks like this may be the end for NickToons and TeenNick US. With so few shows airing there now, I would not be surprised if those channels end up shutting down in the near future, especially since a majority of these shows can be found on Paramount+ already. Disney's been shutting their TV channels down in other countries already since they launched Disney+, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched if ViacomCBS started doing this sort of thing as well.
