How would you change this episode's plot?
While Summer Job is a horrible episode that features Mrs. Puff being tormented and abused for most of the episode by being blackmailed by her boyfriend,Mr.Krabs into working for him and SpongeBob being annoying and stupid towards her for the rest of the episode. Even though it's a terrible episode,one flaw I didn't like is that Mr.Puff running away from SpongeBob when he started to give her the note that he got a job this summer as a driver's co-ed and even after she bounced out of the Krusty Krab,she tore the note to pieces and showed glee when she was arrested and got sent to jail,finally free from SpongeBob. I know Mrs.Puff doesn't like SpongeBob because of his bad driving,but taking her hatred of him to the next level with this and Demolition Doofus is just horrible. It could've been avoided if she put her hatred of SpongeBob and his reckless driving if she had let him gave her note and read it. I feel like Seasons 6-8 really turned her and Pearl(Mr.Krabs' daughter) into female versions of Squidward.
On March 16th, 2010 before 1 week it's supposed to 1st air on TV in the US, it accidently aired at 7 PM/8 PM ECT with parents complaining that it was too inappropriate for their kids & it gave them nightmares.
The title card is different with the pineapples are red instead of orange, the background is black & gray instead of light yellow & dark yellow, Finally the word title is purple instead of light blue.
The episode doesn't really change until the ending with some audio glitches & poor animation. The ending is much different than the version you see today. It ends with Mrs. Puff going completely insane & she breaks the chain on her foot connecting the chair, then steals the green fish cop's gun.
She shoots that cop & SpongeBob, with her running to the Krusty Krab & beating her boyfriend (Mr. Krabs) for black mailing her & letting her suffer by SpongeBob. Mr. Krabs was almost dead but managed to survive, but injured.
The last scene shows Mrs. Puff holding a button (that she stole from Plankton) that says "Press To Blow Up The Krusty Krab" & Presses it, making the whole restaurant explode into pieces & the last few seconds ends with Mrs. Puff evil laughing as the episode fades to black.

The reasons why Summer Job (not to be confused with Bummer Jobs, a TPPS episode) is terrible & deserves to be more hated:
- Mrs. Puff Torture (the most oblivious)!
- Annoying SpongeBob!
- Black Mailing Mr. Krab's own girlfriend!
- Terrible Ending (which is Mrs. Puff being tortured/sent to prison for 7 years for littering & being forced to listen to SpongeBob taking boating class while the cops also torture her).
- Filler!
- More Mrs. Puff Torture (by working at the Krusty Krab)!
