But the audio is distorted

Welcome to the Playoffs! Half of the players you see here will qualify for the final phase. In this post, only the player with the most votes will qualify. One player will also qualify by spinning a roulette wheel, another by AI decision, another will be decided by my grandmother, and the other way is a surprise.
Thank you for continuing to play :)

Overview
So it's my 1st post of 2026, and there was this event people were talking about since 1-2 months ago about the "Great Meme Reset". The Great Meme Reset is basically this event that supposedly started 3 days ago where people would discard brainrot slop and start posting memes from the 2010s.
Fundamentally, this thing is as flawed as heck. I like the idea, but memes die for a reason, and they are only brought back when there's a new idea surrounding it, like the doge dog reincarnated into many different memes, but it's never the original meme being reposted and it's expected to be funny. I get that brainrot sucks, but this is a really half-baked fix to it, which is why I have a better idea.
Also I know about that one song released 3 weeks ago. Although it's very corny, it's ironically pretty good imo.
The Great Meme Upgrade
Basically what this idea is following is that starting anytime (You can choose, even never for a fact), we all post memes similar to those from 2007-2014, but they have to be new and fresh. You can rehash memes from those times, but you can add your own non-brainrot/AI spin to it. This is a significant upgrade to the Great Meme Reset imo because even though brainrot is here to stay. We can make new memes with soul into it, instead of the flawed idea of using tired memes that died long ago.
Here's one (Probably Unfunny) meme I made to contribute:
They were way more pricy on Amazon
