<p>Disclaimer: As you guys may know from my 81 contributions and visits in the chatroom, I am REALLY scared of Painty's design in Truth Or Square, and it appears a bunch of other people in the Spongebob community share that setiment. So I would like it if you DON'T upload any pictures of Painty's 3D design in Truth Or Square to this thread.
</p><p>Anyway, for those of you who do not know, in the 10 year anniversary episode of Spongebob, Truth Or Square, they did a 3D theme song with Painty the Pirate resembling a creepy fortune teller dummy. I haven't watched an episode of Spongebob in quite some time, but from what I've gathered, the model did not reprise it's role for Boo-Kini Bottom and Spongebob's Big Birthday Blowout. And I'm curious as to why? Was it because it was deemed to creepy, even for a Halloween episode? Was it because TOS featured numerous guest stars, including Cee-Lo Green as Painty singing a funk rendition of the theme song, and they couldn't properly match the original audio with TOS Painty's lip syncing?
</p><p>And what happened to the 3D model of Painty made for this theme song? Did they destroy it after it served it's purpose? Is it locked in a closet, collecting dust? Is the model computer generated, a puppet, or made out of clay? I have so many questions.

<p>They do say the first movie is the definite finale and therefore takes place after the second one. My theory is that Sponge Out Of Water takes place before Season 4. Assuming the book made the Bikini Bottomites descend into savagery because Burgerbeard wrote it in, it would appear that some corrupting influence endured, causing the characters to slowly but surely Flanderize, until SpongeBob's transformation at the climax of the first movie.
