Last time, we gave three clues and three chances to guess the episode I'm mentioning to, and the winner with the episode The String is: @Ethgamer02 ! Congratulations!
I'm giving you the same rules as the past two games. Here they are:
This episode is focused around Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy.
SpongeBob and Patrick are tasked to do something important.
This episode features one of the villains.
It will be hard, but I'm counting on you. Good luck!
I like how Mr. Krabs retires and leaves the Krusty Krab under new management....
....SpongeBob and Patrick learn their heroes' origins....
....and Plankton acquires a second eye.
Shoutout to C.H. Greenblatt and Tom Kenny for voicing Carl.
I like how SpongeBob give himself a black eye....
....and he battles the hypnotized Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy.
"BS" is where we met Jack M. Crazyfish. Shoutout to Greg Baldwin, Tom Kenny and Dana Synder for voicing him.
In both episodes, the Mermaid Man enemy (Man Ray and the Dirty Bubble) overeats (Krabby Patties for Man Ray and Chum for the Dirty Bubble) and that leads to their downfall (Man Ray gets caught by Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy and the Dirty Bubble pops). And their partner (Plankton for Man Ray and Bubble Bass for the Dirty Bubble) was the one who encouraged them to eat a Krabby Patty or Chum, but they didn't expect them to overeat and Plankton and Bubble Bass find themselves in sticky situations. That's how similar the endings are, they just made some changes.

I am making Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy VII, can someone please tell me the lore revealed about Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy in Modern Spongebob?
I don't want this fanmade episode to seem out of place in terms of lore.
Also, pls tell me, what did Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy do in Modern Spongebob episodes!
