And Are You Afraid Of The Dork?

This time, I watched 3 episodes of Kamp Koral. The first one’s called “Are You Afraid of the Dork?” The second one’s called “Help Not Wanted” and the third one’s called “Camp Spirit” and it got me thinking, what if all those 3 episodes were to have their very own special on DVD?

Ok, so for “Are You Afraid of the Dork?” Tell me a really scary story inspired by Bubble Bass’s stories in the episode. For “Help Not Wanted”, what do you think will happen to GrandPat in the end of the episode and for “Camp Spirit”, make up a segment of The Sir Urchin & Snail Fail Show that recaps the events.

Nickelodeon can't even bother making room for them on the schedule despite being "SpongeBob, but different". Kamp Koral does have a home on Paramount+ and occasionally appears on Nick, but Patrick Star Show was made for Nickelodeon and it feels like it is getting the Middlemost Post treatment (ironically both premiered together and there was an event called Patrick and Parker Power Hour). If we suddenly get a month of Patrick Star Show premieres on weekdays, don't be surprised if it gets cancelled shortly after. I bet the Nickelodeon schedulers wish they hadn't renewed them for Season 2, but good for us we still have lots of adventures to watch! Heck, we aren't even getting Are You Afraid of the Dork? this year despite being perfect for Halloween and being the last episode of Season 1 Volume 1 to air.

We haven't heard anything about new Kamp Koral episodes since July 2021, meanwhile Patrick Star Show and main series have had tons of new episodes announced. It only took four months to add more episodes after the initial batch, but now it has been over 10 months with not even confirmation that more will be added soon. They also have been airing the Paramount+ episodes on Nickelodeon lately, and now we only have Wise Kraken, Squatch Swap, and Are You Afraid of the Dork? (which is obviously being saved for Halloween) remaining. Perhaps after Wise Kraken and Squatch Swap air, they will just reveal a bunch of new episodes and skip Paramount+ to air them on Nickelodeon. Or maybe they will go to Paramount+ after all but they want to get caught up on Nick first. When do you think we will see more Kamp Koral and where?
