The man sat there and watched The Splinter and Face Freeze be made, having the chance to step in at any time and just stop them but he didn't. He wouldn't exactly be upset that an episode made without his supervision was a 7/10.
@Peestasheeo I thought the same thing! If he was okay with all the garbage that was produced during his lifetime, I don't think things like Kamp Koral would have bothered him. I'm sure the guy had a life outside of SpongeBob.
