Then a Smosh video plays for some reason.

When the intro says "shut up", everyone gets temporary tinnitus. Germaniumtus, if you will.

I ask if we should stop by the hospital, but the only one open is the Never Gonna Give You Up Hospital, where Rick Astley is arguing with John Flansburgh, since he wants to appear outside of ending gags.

We then decide to head for NES HQ, which is undergoing a tenth anniversary renovation thanks to the Not-Mire.

'You're the best!' I tell the Not-Mire.

'Oh come on, all he did was support you in a violent war to preserve the status quo against a cult-hivemind. Is that really that important?' the Mire asks. 'What if I support you in a violent war to preserve the status quo against a cult-hivemind? Would you call me the best too then?'

It then turns out he decorated the walls with pictures of us in a 1600s setting, like it's in another multiverse.

I say that this whole split consciousness thing is trippy, and ask if anyone wants cake so we can take our mind off of it.

I enter NES HQ and say yes.

'Wait. Where have you been? I didn't see you leave,' Someone says.

'Reasons™,' I reply.
